Tooth extractions are relatively common. Here are a few signs you may need a dental extraction:
1. Jaw or gum swelling that has lasted more than a few days
2. Large fracture on your tooth that you can visibly see
3. Large cavity on one or more of your teeth that you can visibly see.
4. Pain around the areas of your wisdom teeth that persists for more than a few days
5. Very mobile tooth or teeth due to bone level loss.
Wisdom teeth

It’s important to keep your mouth clean by brushing regularly and rinsing with saltwater 24 hours after the procedure for two to three times a day.
